16 months + 16 Month Well Child Visit

Busy life of Ava continues:


This month Ava has learned to ;

*Dance- Spin in circles and clap, lift her legs, do squats <--All forms of her dance moves
* Point to her butt when she poops <-- So cute...NOT, But helpful
*Says the word NO!
* She learned how to Shh people (uh oh)
* We have officially mastered HI YEE and Buh-Bye, and it probably is the cutest thing EVER. Mix that with blowing kisses and it just makes my heart melt
* Ava got her first Baby Doll and she LOVES it!!!!

Cinci here we come! Thanksgiving 2013

Oh how we have missed Cincinnati! We have been TRAVELING a ton it feels like, but we love every second of it...and Ava does better and better every trip.
We decided to try middle of the night driving, after I worked an 11 hour day! <--Yes we are crazy, but I get off work at 6pm and Avas bed time is 730 so we figured lets drive while she sleeps, and it worked :)
The drive went great, our first stop was 20 minutes down the road to get me my medicine(sinus infection), the pharmacist warned me that if I took that days dose I would be up all night...she was right!!One stop at starbucks, a stop for gas and a 5 dollar box of tissue and I drove the WHOLE WAY...yes ME!(*those that know me, know I SLEEP in cars NOT drive). It was a very smooth trip, other than me not being able to breath :)
We came down the hill into Cincinnati(*My favorite part), seeing the skyline of the city is BEAUTIFUL at night and knew in 30 short minutes we would be at Grandma and Grandpas in BED! 4am hit and we were there :) Ava fell asleep in the bed with us and we got to sleep in, a perfect start to a mini VACA!

The trip was great, we hung out with family, ate great food, saw some amazing friends, and most of all had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.

I tried to not let my sinus infection ruin the trip, I took all my medicine, stayed clear of Ava and everyone in attempt to not get them sick, relax, and enjoy the 5 days we had with family.

We got to set up christmas decorations and got some to take home...even got a christmas tree, took Grandma out to get a new hairstyle, had a date night, saw SANTA, went shopping, and enjoyed great company, and most importantly Ava enjoyed quality time playing with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Nate. Avas favorite thing was playing with Justins old McDonalds toy kitchen from when he was a baby(She was so cute serving food to people through the drive up window)

Thanksgiving was great, even Ava loved the food. Justin, Nate, Granda, Grandpa, China, and Great Grandpa were all around the table with big plate in front of them, everyone was happy and well fed that day :)

We hit the road Saturday in attempts for me to kick this sinus infections butt!!!! We got home 8 1/2 hours later, got snuggled in bed...and guess who had a fever?? Ava, poor baby.

The following day both Ava and I attempted to go to work/school only to make it 1 hour. Ava got sent home, and mommy went with. We spent the rest of the day at both of our doctors office. I, again had another Sinus infection....Ava, Hand foot mouth, and a ear infection. She was a trooper and not acting too sick at all!

Thanksgiving 2013 all in all was a great success! The holiday season has officially started! Christmas decorations are going up as we speak!!

 

 
 

 
 

15 Months

This month was a great month!!


 

  

* Ava got a NEW COUSIN- Chloe Jane Brancheau* Living away from WA just got a bit more difficult. We haven't officially met and held sweet Chloe, but we skype her often and she knows how much we LOVE her.

Everyday I am constantly mentally saying "Oh, I have to blog about that, oh and that, and OH I cant forget to blog about that" but then life happens and I get sidetracked and then I am like, "OH Crap, I forgot"

I swear Ava does something cute, and NOT so cute but totally hilarious every five seconds. I wish I could just have a constant video camera rolling. She is full of surprises and we just ADORE it.


This month she is growing like a weed!

  She is now in 18 month clothes comfortably. <--SOME EVEN TOO SMALL
  Size 4 diapers
  Some of her shoes, are getting too small. Thank goodness she has a closet full <_Thanks Great Grandma Mary-Kay and Auntie Melissa

  She is learning new words and gestures all the time
 She is also a lot more independent, which I appreciate but then again I want her to WANT her mommy and daddy all the time.
  She loves watching her shows (Doc Mcstuffins) and sitting in her chair, just like Grandpa. * Thinking for Christmas to get her a child sized recliner. She tries to lay back on her chair and it tips hahah

* Ava has 14 teeth fully popped through :) What a smile on that girl

* Long enough hair for pig tails and almost a mini pony tail

* Loves to sing....correction- Likes to cheer YAYA and clap when someone is done singing, sometimes halfway through

    Favorite songs, Thanks to her wonderful daycare- If your happy and you know it, bringing home my baby bumble bee, wheels on the bus, twinkle twinkle. 

* Ava had her first set of school pictures- Mommy and Daddy through together a pretty cute outfit :)

* Avas bowed legs are getting pretty intense. I think they are the cutest thing ever, especially when she wears her skinny jeans. The doctor said everything is perfectly normal, but its going to get worse before it gets better:(- People comment a lot of them, and it kinda bugs me but Ive learned to embrace it and just ignore peoples comments.

*Ava and I now work together again:) She goes to the center I currently work at. She is in the Toddler room. At first she had a VERY VERY hard time when she would see me during the day outside on the playground was exceptionally hard. She has since gotten bored of me and now loves to play and go down the slide. She doesn't really like when she has to separate from me and go back to class, cries and then once she's in class she is fine:) I know it'll keep getting better.

 













Nana and Grandpa came to Memphis again this month and it was SO MUCH FUN! It was a short but sweet visit. Ava enjoyed being spoiled while Mommy and Daddy went to work, we went out to eat at our favorite BBQ, Corkys, we went to the zoo lights, and enjoyed quality time together. It was a great visit.

 

Welcoming a new baby(-ies) into the world today.

.....BABIES! Cant get enough! I think everyone around me is pregnant! Its amazing. My good friends (Brynn- Just has Xander as I type this. Happy Birthday X man) and Alex and Melissa are welcoming their second baby into this world, RIGHT ABOUT NOW. Well they are starting the process :). They just went in for Induction and not a lot of people know, so here I am in Memphis. WAITING patiently(<-- not so much). I know with induction that it is a LONG process so I imagine a SLEEPLESS night ahead and waking up to an AMAZING picture of my new niece/nephew! I am so in love already.
 I want to post this blog, but I am going to update as this long night goes on!


  So here I am 9 pm ( Crying ahahah) and I get an Awesome SKYPE from ALEX AND MELISSA!!

Talk about FLASHBACK of when Cooper was born. There was Melissa, feet up, gown on, Apple juice in hand, and a HUGE smile. Alex gave me a awesome tour of the room, showed me the monitor of his/her little heart beat. I cannot wait...ahh Now I am really impatient.

 I just cannot believe soon enough I will have ANOTHER wonderful niece/nephew. It just makes my heart so warm.

* Still patiently waiting, and trying to sleep. Alex has been updating me as the night goes on!!!!

Now I am at work. Phone in my pocket (Cant have my phone at work, but WHO CARES, Theres a BABY on the way)!!! Baby Brancheau #2 is HERE...but IM STILL WAITING .....AHHH this auntie is going NUTS~ I am 99.987654% sure its going to be a girl. I am so happy for Cooper to be a BIG BROTHER. He may not know it yet but being a Big sibling is the BEST thing in the world. I love being a BIG sister to my baby brother Alpal....he may not appreciate me as much because of how I would dress him up, call him names, manipulate him into doing whatever I wanted. BUT I LOVE HIM so much!!!!! I would do anything for him, and I know he would do anything for me!!! Having a sibling is the best thing in life! ENJOY COOPER!



YAY-They have announced to Auntie Erin......Chloe Jane Brancheau has arrived!!!Shes tiny, cute, and I am so in love with my new NIECE.

Wow am I going to spoil that little girl when I am in WA

 

 

Happy Halloween

WOW! I can just tell from how Halloween, that ALL holidays from here on out will be AMAZING! Ava loved Halloween. She went as an 80's workout super-star. She wasnt fond of stoping to take a picture but she was on the GO the WHOLE TIME. She could care less about getting candy, just wanted to wave to everyone and go up to everyones door. She is proud of herself and that she can go up stairs alone now. She is too cute! We spent majority of Halloween at work, but Ava had a Halloween day at her school and went on a parade. We came home and carved pumpkins and went out on a 3 mile trek for Halloween Candy.

**Big THANKS to Nana and Grandpa for Avas awesome Halloween box, full of her FAVORITE: Snack pouches, Diapers, and the best gift ever<---Her Halloween basket, that she carts around everywhere. She even puts her PUFFs in there and eats out of it.

It was a great day!
