40 weeks

Posting this 40 weeks reminds me of being 40 weeks pregnant. Wow has time gone by fast. It's funny how I say it goes so fast yet if you read my 40 week pregnancy blog it says how slow time has gone.

Ava also went to daycare twice twice this week. She got her first bad report card. Poor baby was EXHAUSTED FROM getting stuck in Houston Texas.

Ava now LOVES to clap * Thanks Cooper.
She is still very SLEEPY from traveling so much, but shell get adjusted. We have a trip to TENNESSEE lake house this weekend, and Vermont in a week and half. After that, WE WILL SLEEP!!!!!!

Every night Ava and Daddy spend bath time together. SHE LOVES this special time with her Da-Da. When I start the water she crawls SO FAST into the bathroom.

   

9 months

My NINE month old

* Gone from barely crawling to STANDING all alone
* She is now eating a lot of "real people" food
* Visited Seattle, For Coopers 1st Birthday
* She is in size 3, sometimes 4 diapers
*Wearing 9m(barely), 12-18 month clothes (pants are soo short on her)
* Has 8 teeth <---YIKES
* Officially doesnt sleep through the night anymore, but its getting better
* Started daycare
* Loves to WAVE hello and Bye
*Tried Fro-Yo for first time..NOT A FAN! TOO CHILLY!

39 weeks,starting daycare and Seattle Bound

I've been so excited for this week and dreaded it at the same time. I have ALWAYS known that I LOVE to work but I have absolutely LOVED my time home with Ava. As nice and wonderful being a stay at home mom is, it's just not for me. Of course I love being w Ava and being the one with her all day, but I also love working. In the future I could see myself at home w a few kids but for now, it's off to work :)

  I now have the best of both worlds. I am working and Ava gets to be there too :) I dropped her off for the first time and her eyes lit up with excitement, she was surrounded by other kids, lots of toys and love from the teachers. I had a hard time leaving her but throughout the day I could sneak a peek and see her, she was sleeping a lot and playing :) 

Happenings this week: 

    Ava had a great trip to Ohio 

    Mommy had a WONDERFUL 1st Mother's Day 

    Ava started daycare

   Mommy started her new job

   Ava had her 9 month appointment 

   Ava is getting more and more adventurous with standing alone 

   We also flew to Seattle to surprise cooper for his 1st birthday this weekend 

   Ava and I miss Justin 

We returned from Coopers AWESOME 1st birthday party. I cannot believe my little nephew is one years old. And by the way the CUTEST KID EVER. We had a great time at his barnyard themed party :)

38 weeks

  This week flew by. The weather was off and on so we took advantage of every nice day we had this week and went for long walks. On the not nice days we went shopping and walked around the mall. 

  Ava officially hates stores like her mom does. Poor thing was scared to death of the thunder, I was too so we stayed up together.

  Ava is learning slowly but surely to Stan. We try every once and awhile and it's either a hit or miss. This week it was a hit. She loved it, she stood for about 20 seconds unassisted :) 

  This turned out to be our last week at home together and my last week as a stay at home mom. I got a job. I am beyond excited. The even better news. Ava will be at work with me. :) I will be a manager at a preschool and Ava will be in the infant room. It couldn't have worked out better. 

  We are starting to get more and more into eating foods. With the move and everything starting solids was off to a slow pace. This week we started eating more and more and she loves it. She even feeds herself puffs and yogurt bites like a champ. 

   She has been a teething monster too. She has 4 teeth currently ( 2 top 2 bottoms) and we can see TWO MORE. Top teeth coming in...yikes. Poor baby is in a lot of pain. Thank god for cold teeters, puffs, toys,  and ORAJEL. She also uses her arm(ouch), hand, and she had bit me once SUPER OUCH. She also found that chewing on her crib helps!!!! :( I put my order in on amazon to get crib protector :( 

  This week has been awesome. My diet is going great. I feel great. Justin's great, Ava's great. Life if GREAT (* bedsides how much I miss my family and friends) 

   Oh and I'm officially a resident of TN :( they took my WA ID. IT WAS SAD. Ill get it back one day:) 

37 Weeks

 


I can still remember when I was 37 Weeks pregnant, now here we are and Little Miss is 37 weeks old. Justin and I have said to each other a lot this week how we think she is growing over night. Her hair is longer, her legs, arms, fingers, toes...they are all bigger. It is insane the amount of changes that happen right before your eyes. She is such a ball of personality  No matter what kind of day Justin and I are having when we are all together we are laughing and smiling all the time. Its incredible.

This week Ava has become a Dare-Devil. She isn't afraid of anything. She climbs on everything and ANYTHING, she transfers, she lets go..its kinda scary. I think by the end of May she will have taken her first steps.

This week the weather hasnt been the best, so we have enjoyed time indoors playing with blocks, stackable toys, and watching Mikey Mouse club house. She Loves it!

Diaper Changes have become a WRESTLING MATCH. She HATES it! She constantly wants a dry diaper but won't let us change it. Huggies sells
pull up style" diapers, we have 2 packs going to try soon :)
