Daycare, First time for Mommy and Baby

I know it'll get better over time and once we stop traveling as much and get on a more solid routine, but YIKES. The first few weeks of daycare have been ROUGH.  She is now ( a few weeks in) getting use to not being center of attention. ( a lot different then grandpa daycare and when mommy was home with her). The bad days are out numbered though by the times I see her crawling around, smiling, being held, laughing, clapping and interacting with friends. Yes, it is hard to be away all day every day. But I am lucky. I can pop my head in and see her whenever I want. ( just to look, I don't interact with her during the day because she instantly starts freaking out) 

  I honestly don't know if I could work anywhere else and be away from her, or unless she was w a family member. It'd be too hard on me :) but again I am very fortunate for this situation. I am building my career growth opportunity as well as she is getting the opportunity to grow too.  A true WIN WIN situation. 

Ava as I said is still transitioning into routine and we have made it extra difficult bunt traveling so much but overall she's been a trooper. Only one day so far he fussed a lot and one DAY SHE completley REFUSED to nap, threw binkys, bottles and would just CRY or PLAY in her crib. But since then she is slowly getting use to her daycare routine. THANK GOODNESS.

45 Weeks

A good week..NO a GREAT week!

It was SO NICE to have company, especially a friend come ALL THE way from Seattle to see me. It meant a lot to have krystin here. It was sad to see her go. 

Ava is taking steps every day( Not many but everyday she takes 1-4) 

Ava is one ball of fun! Such personality shines through this little girl.

She is feeling way better after this ear infection, Thank goodness. 

Ava also didnt cry when I dropped her off at all in her classroom. She also is doing great with napping at daycare. :)

Ava has been STRUGGLING with sleeping through the night, but now that she is feeling better and not teething(for time being) she has had 3 good nights of sleep. Such a refreshing feeling to sleep all night!!!!

Fathers Day and a BIG MOMENT

Happy FIRST official Fathers Day to the BESTEST DA-DA in the whole wide world, Justin!

We celebrated today by having a relaxing morning(after traveling all day the day before),  went grocery shopping :), Presents, went out to dinner, played tennis, and enjoyed a nice evening.

Ava is so lucky to have a father like Justin. He loves Ava so much and does so much for her, and would DO ANYTHING!

44 Weeks

This girl LOVES to DANCE

* have I mentioned HOW HARD these weekly pictures are now! but soo cute!

Whether it is Mickey Mouse club House, Justins Opera songs, hip hop, or "put your hands up in the air", and even Nanas FAVORITE made up song AVA loves to "dance"( she sits down and shakes her upper body and puts her hands up in the air...it is soooooo freaking CUTE)


Ava this week gets to spend the next week with Krystin Morrison all the way from Seattle, Ava is so excited to see her again and to show her around MEMPHIS.

Ava had to go to the doctor, she was acting sick, coughing and chocking on her saliva( so scary). Justin had to take her in(I had to work). She has a EAR INFECTION, and a yeast infections. LUCKILY Ava showed no signs of Pain from the ear infection while in Vermont, only developed her cough. Luckily with the help of Amoxicillin, and a tough baby she is getting WAY BETTER. She had a sick day from school and was able to spend the day cuddling with daddy.

10 months

Im not going to lie, this MONTH has gone by soooo fast that we forgot her 10 month bday. We usally celebrate in some kind of fun way, but not this month. Five days after the fact we felt so bad that we missed it. We took a step back and reminisced on this month. WHAT A MONTH..BUSY BUSY, ALOT of growth!!

Likes to stand unassisted, and can now do squats and clap while standing
Da-Da, Ma-Ma, and I swear she says Nana sometimes
NOT sleeping through the night

Size 3 diapers(sometimes 4, but still too big)
Got her first pair of REAL shoes
Getting curls in the back of her head
Loves to clap (thanks Cooper)
Loves to WAVE at EVERYONE
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is her favorite show(pays most attention to intro)

This post will mostly be pictures because this week was a BLAST and the pictures say it all. Ava got to meet her Gi-Gi and got to meet all her cousins and great Aunties. It was more fun then we could have ever wished for. The best part we were surrounded by family.

Seriously an amazing FAMILY FILLED Vacation! So glad we were able to see everyone and spend a lot of quality time together!
