49 weeks

                                             




Reality is hitting this mommy hard!!!!!How is it that I do NOT have a baby, I have a toddler, a full blown walking, and kinda talking baby. Justin and I are amazed with her everyday. We catch ourselves in awe of her all the time.

Party planning is in full blown motion.

Ava this week is Confident in her walking abilities. Almost too confident 

Ava is still NOT sleeping through the night. Every night from 2am to 230am she wakes up and SCREAMS. AND WILL ONLY fall asleep if she is smack dab in the middle of mommy and daddy. It's a habit we are in the process of breaking. Even though I do love her cuddles in the morning.

Ava is still on medication for her ear infection and she is such a trooper. She takes medicine like a champion. She is also still fighting her diaper rash. This poor baby. 

Also. Daycare is giving her so much experience with eating table foods.  She does excellent with her eating. So proud of her. 

 
 

 

48 Weeks

She just loves to mimic people. She is really starting to realize how many cool noises she can make and that if she makes certain ones she will get reactions out of people. She said hi this week :) *see video



Ava LOVED having Nana and Grandpa in Memphis. We had so much fun. Poor Nana was sick but she was a trooper and we all still did SO much, and had a blast together. We hope they can make it out to Memphis again! Showing people Memphis makes me feel really good about our decision to move here. Justin and I both do not want to live here forever but this has been a great move for our little family. Ava is happy, Justin and Mommy are happy...we are all happy. We cannot wait until the future to see what it has in store for us:)

11 Months....Next month, A YEAR...REALLY??

47 Weeks

*^^ some little girl did not want her picture taken. 

This week will be a MILESTONE week. She is OFFICIALLY walking unassisted. More and more each night. So far her record is 21 steps...tiny baby steps, still unsteady but SO AWESOME. She laughs so hard as she walks.
This week we loved swimming .. She likes playing Peek-A-Boo, when someone goes under water and pops out she starts cracking up.

This week flew by, both Justin and I have been super busy with work.

Ava also SLEPT 13 hours. Ava fell asleep in the car on the way home from work and despite many efforts to wake her up, she slept all night until 740 am!!!! Justin was so worried about her he checked on her 3 times in the middle of the night. She was perfectly fine just TIRED!! Mommy and Daddy got good sleep too! It was AMAZING!!!!!

NEXT WEEK MY PARENTS (Avas Nana and Grandpa come to MEMPHIS!)

4th of July and weekend Dale Hallow Trip

4th of July we enjoyed a day off of work, shopping, swimming and enjoying family time. We also got ready for our weekend trip to Dale Hallow Lake.

Plans for this weekend were to waterski, swim, tan, BBQ, inner tube, and hang out with family.

  After work and a 6 1/2 hour car ride we arrived in Dale Hallow. We were greeted by family coming into town and went to bed. We woke up in the middle of the night to a VERY relaxing rain hitting the roof of the barn and we even got to sleep in. Well, that relaxing RAIN DID NOT STOP all day. Some people would let that ruin their day but NOT us. We opened up the garage at great grandpa Kautz's and as more family arrived we had a BBQ in the garage surrounded by family and we watched it rain:). Some people even went out on the boat and to the beach and swam in the warm lake in the rain while others played fun games at the lake house.  It was a perfect day. 

To wrap up the day we gathered at the Kautz's barn house for Ava's "1st" bday party. We decided that we wanted family to share this special moment with Ava since we were all together :). Ava had a blast ( even though she is getting her cold AGAIN) 

She wasn't to sure of her cupcake and ate like a girl( nice and clean) 

Sunday was a beautiful morning and made it hard to leave but it was a fun weekend and we will be back soon enough to boat, tan and ski like planned :)'

 
 

46 weeks

This was a fun week. Ava's laughter fills our house with so much love (*see video)

Every night she is taking a few more steps. 5 is the most in a row as of now. She is looking more and more adventurous, like she wants to take off but is still unsure of how to get going. 

This week was my birthday and Nanas. For my birthday we had a relaxing night with salad, sandwiches, and cake. I also go a beautiful bracelet from Justin and Ava.  To finish up the night we had a Skype bday party with Nana and grandpa. It was a great day. 

Grandma and Grandpa came to memphis and spent a few days with us. It was fun to have them in town, go on a walk, out to dinner, and go swimming.
