Weekend getaway.

A much needed weekend getaway. This has been a HARD month emotionally for us, for a few reasons. We are getting away this weekend. Celebrating being a family, enjoying time away from work and home, and celebrating Justin's birthday a bit early too. :)
  This weekend will be spent swimming, waterskiing, fishing, and hanging out. Sounds good to me.

Ava is becoming a pro at car rides (<-- might be because of the medicine she's on for her teeth) but she's set...she has puffs,milk,cookies,water and doc mcstuffins on the DVD player.

Weekend=success.

We relaxed, we attempted to fish, we hug out with family, ate good food, boated, water skiied, jumped off cliffs, and enjoyed the outdoors.
Now back to the real world. Some hopefully exciting changes are upon myself, we will see:)

13 Months

After a year of weekly photos, I have decided to CONTINUE with monthly posts and updates. It is my way of documenting all the amazing things that happen on and everyday basis. It is amazing to go back and reflect on how truly amazing this life is, and what joy Ava brings to our world.

12 hour road trip with a 12 month old.....Are we really that crazy?

The answer is YES!!!! <----Most people already knew that though

How do we prepare for a 12 hour car trip........We are still trying to figure that out!

12 month WELL CHILD visit

I was so Happy to finally be able to go meet Avas doctor. The ONE thing I love about Memphis is this doctors office. It is ADORABLE! Laurelwoods Pediatrics, its amazing.

Ava had to have 5 shots, poor baby. Poor Mommy because Daddy wasnt able to make it.

Ava is ONE healthy little(big) girl! She is on track for everything.

Goodbye Formula, Goodbye bottles and HELLO milk in Sippy cups! We are nervous for the transition to real food and no bottles, but I think she will do amazing!

Poor shots, gave her a fever, and knocked her out, Luckily she is a trooper
