Okay. I want to know how in the world I use to do WEEKLY updates. Wow. Monthly ones have been so hard lately. I have a one word answer. Toddler!!!! Wow Ava is BUSY. She is also so grown up. I believe she acts older than she really is, sometimes I need to remind her "hey little sassy pants you are 1,not 14"
Ava is getting a lot of compliments from teachers and friends on how grown up she is. She is talking up a storm and that really shows her personality.
We are also officially weaned off Larry at daycare...home is a different story but daycare is a good start the fact that she can say "warry warrrrrrry" means time to say buh bye.
I would say the last month all of our routines have turned completely upside down. Ava has been having a lot of MOMMY MOMENTS where she only wants me. I love it but I have an amazing husband who likes daddy daughter time but she is just going through such a weird phase. We are all at a loss. She was sleeping from 730-7 in her crib all night. No problems. Until about 3 weeks ago. Now she sleeps from 730-11 in her crib and REFUSES to go back down. So we gave up and let her sleep w us. Well now that's all she will do :(. We are trying CIO once again Because it worked so we the first time but we aren't having a 3 day success story again.
On a much happier note I am loving my job. I love being a toddler teacher portion but Im REALLY loving the atmosphere. The company. The location and the people. Of course my 10 18-24 month olds are ADORBs but I just can't wait to manage a center or to get back into teaching my first graders again but for now it's wonderful and a welcomed change then what I once had. I also love that Ava is meeting so many wonderful playmates. We have met some great families and go on play dates now. The children's museum and here shortly the pool and zoo will be some of our handouts. It'll be nice to get outside again and get out of target haha
Well- Child visit---- We had to wait for a week after her 18 month(birthday) to take her into the doctor, because of her shot schedule....Justin was able to take the morning and we all went as a family.....Well pretty much to sum it up I FEEL HORRIBLE
If you read the post about you heard about Ava having a lot of MOMMY moments and that she hasn't been sleeping well. Well, we were at doctor hearing about how perfect our baby is..which lets face it we already knew :) Well as he was about to look in her ears he said "hows she sleeping?" Justin and I both turn to each other and just say "HORRIBLE!" He peeked in and said OWWW I think I know why, looked in the next ear...and said "I definitely KNOW WHY?" Double ear infection...POOR BABY..she showed no signs, other than no sleeping, and digging into her mouth(Which I thought was teething). Poor baby, 4th ear infection and luckily all have been spaced out enough so we aren't talk ing about tubes yet:)
