20 Months and EASTER

............must keep swimming......must keep swimming...........

I have been SOOO BUSY....want to know why? NOPE, not the 10 hour work days, or constant battle of laundry, dishes, squeezing in the gym, errands, husband....ONE WORD...It explains it all

TODDLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This little girl....Too cute!!!! She is seriously the joy I never thought I could have!

I use to be able to blog about whats new, and some new milestones...ITS SO HARD...She does something cool, neat, cute , and exciting everyday..multiple times a day!!

She is now mastering the art of RUNNING!!!* No major spills yet!
She is talking a TON. Almost putting together 3 word sentences.

"Hi Daddy" "Bye Daddy" "No, Mommy" "No, Mine" "Herrrrro(hello)"
"Let it go"(<--- yes from Frozen)

She got her first car!! Pink Ferarri

We spend her 20 Month Birthday in Brystown TN. Had a great road trip and enjoyed some wonderful time with family.

This year we went to the lake house in Byrdstown Tennessee for Easter. The day started off with a full days work. Ava and Justin came to my classroom party and had an Easter Egg Hunt. It was fun to spend some time together, yet enjoy Avas first "classroom party" together.

We hit the road, I wasn't feeling 100% so I slept some, then drove, then slept some more! We made it to Byrdstown in about 5 hours.

Construction on the new addition to the Lake house has started, and it looks great. I cannot believe how far along it is already. Ava loved running through the walls. The weather was perfect. The first day, Justin, Grandpa and I all went out on a fishing adventure ( no one caught anything) while Ava and Grandma had a play date :)

Friday night Justin and I got to go on a FANCY-SMANCY dinner date, to the one and only...ANCHOR DOWN ( Which BTW has the BEST chicken strips)

Saturday was awesome. Ava and Her second cousins got to spend some quality time together, and had an Easter Egg hunt. I love that Ava is now old enough to enjoy finding the Easter basket and to hunt for eggs. She really enjoyed finding them, and sometimes would put more eggs where she found eggs, so she still has some work to do on the actual hunting part :)

Sunday we went to Church with Great Grandpa, Ava loved to start talking at the quietest moments...for instance yelling "beep beep" and grabbing my nose during prayer, and she loved singing with the music. After church we all went to a nice breakfast and we hit the open road.

19 Months

19 months<-- getting really close to 24 months which is REALLY close to when the terrible twos start uh oh....(I think we are already getting a preview)

Famous dad thought of the month..."pretty soon we will say go clean up your toys and she will". That really got me thinking... She is so grown up

We ask her to get her cup... She gets it
We ask her to get her plate ... She gets it
We ask her to get her shoes.   She gets it

She is so smart these days :)

We bought de-tangeler. Her curly hair is getting out of control and so cute.

Ava's favorite word this month."eeeweee" (*Thanks Auntie China)

Loves to go to the park and go down the slides.
She is a hugging maching. So cute and she even pats your back

She is also a dancing disco queen :) She's got better moves than me.

Ava picks her boogers and hands them to you...so thoughtful

Favorite songs
  E-I-E-I-O
 BINGO
Wheels on the bus
If your happy and you know it
Twinkle Twinkle

She can point out her head, eyes, nose(beep beep), tummy and feet

She tries to say EVERYTHING we say

She LOVES FaceTime. Hugs the screen and kisses it. I am so thankful for technology these days!

Ava has a besets friend here in Memphis, Her name is Gabriella. They play so well together. Having her for Ava has made it a little easier to live here...a little! Watching Ava with other kids is so FUN!!! Makes me so excited to see her grow up and have friends and playdates!

We also Randomly decided to set up her toddler bed!!!!and she crawls in it and says NIGH-NIght..then lays down...grabs a blanket..and GETS up...and attempts to cover one of us up and pat our back nigh-night...so funny and cute...We let her fall asleep by rocking her or with us in bed..transition her to her bed..and when she wakes up about 3-5 hours later she walks into our room(slamming all the doors behind her)!!!! We don't want to make a HUGE deal out of this..we are just attempting to see how she does...(*my goal is on her 2nd birthday)
