This week I talked to Dr. about traveling, she really doesn't want me further than 20 minutes from a hospital incase I start to bleed. She also prefers that I don't go on any more airplanes, but IF I DO ( and I want to ) that I stay hydrated. I am very cautious, and I have to go sooner than later. Of course if I have any issues before then I won't go. We are hoping to take one more trip to WA before the baby.

* The Dr. appointment went amazing as far as the little guy is concerned. I went into the Dr. appointment with HIGH HIGH hopes that my placenta pre via was fixed and we would be taken off of pelvic rest and I can continue to work out. Well the tech shattered my hopes by saying my previa was STILL THERE:( "but don't worry it'll probably move", so yes it sucked to hear that but I still left the scan with HOPE. After weight and peeing in a cup we saw Dr. Taylor. Went over how things had been going and then the topic came up..PLACENTA PREVIA, still there. She said I had to continue with Pelvic rest and LIMITED ACTIVITY, yay not bed rest...but whats limited activity? I asked, "light workouts at the gym, light weights, walks?" The answer "NO!, work and go home". People who know me, I am an active person. I hate just laying around, of course I enjoy it sometimes, but overall I want to be active. So okay, I swallowed it, Ill accept it. But then it got worse. I asked if she still had hope it would go away, "I am doubting it at this point". I literally held back ALL MY tears. I made it to the elevator and had a BREAK DOWN, called my mom, balling. I do NOT want to have limited activity, any complications, most of all no bed rest, plus a C-Section. All of this I will deal with because the best news is that Baby Boy is safe!!!

For the few days I have been on restrictions its been okay, but hard not to just get up and go for a long evening walk, hard not to help pack to move, hard not to want to workout during my lunch breaks. I am of course going to try to do light workouts(yoga) at home and go for low impact walks at night (a mile or so). My next appointment is in 4 weeks and we will re evaluate the situation!

GENDER REVEAL PARTY

While in Vermont, surrounded by our loved ones we had an AWESOME opportunity to have a Gender Reveal Party. It was perfect, we had the ultrasound a few weeks prior, kept the envelope safe and resisted all temptation to open it, brought it with us to Vermont and started planning a fun little gathering to celebrate baby #2.

We wanted Ava (big sister) to have the spotlight and reveal the gender to everyone. We had a piniata ready, asked my little cousin and uncle bob to do the honors of opening the envelope that afternoon and filling it with either Pink or Blue. They did an amazing job and kept a great secret! Everyone came over that night and we had an amazing party. Ava didn't like the spotlight so we ended up pulling the string...and guess what...its a !!!

This is Ava at the party store. We bought a blue and pink ballon but she insisted on holding the blue

Auntie Beth and Nana being super helpers and cutting all the confetti

During this ultrasound I was put on pelvic rest due to my placenta covering the cervix( placenta previa). I will have another ultrasound in hopes that my placenta will move up. Nothing other than pelvic rest is needed at this time.

I am also being sent to evaluate a painful bump in my armpit. I have had it since about week 8, but I thought I should bring it up just in case. Well, Dr. felt something and wants it checked out.

A few days later I went in for a ultrasound and a mammogram

Armpit ultrasounds arent as exciting as baby ultrasounds, NO IDEA what I was looking at. The dr. said its a build up of (some long medical word) and we will re evaluate in 6 months. He also said he saw something and wanted to go ahead with a Mammogram. A. They aren't fun. B. They aren't AS BAD as people say, yes they make your boob into a pancake but it only lasts a few seconds.
