25 weeks

What a week! Being on restriction is no joke, but then again thank god for a little bit of a break. Overall I'm still feeling good just very stretchy( if that's a word) my tummy feels like it's extending to max proportions way too fast. Also baby favors my left hip bone. He is constantly kicking/punching and hanging out in my left hip. I don't remember Ava ever doing that.
I have followed drs orders overall, work I have taken it VERY easy. I haven't been lifting Ava or doing any extra work or moving. I wanted these two weeks to be very chill because then at my next appointment I hopefully hear great news and am lifted of any restriction

One thing I have learned w baby number two is that you get more uncomfortable way sooner. We took a great getaway to NC for a wedding ( 12 hour car ride) luckily the way there we split the trip in 3 days , 7 hrs Thursday, relax day Friday 4 hours Saturday. Though it was nice to split it up I got super uncomfortable within 2 hours. Being scrunched up is not comfy, I'd try to lay or extend and nothing would work Bc he is all in my hip. Ouch.
It makes me so sad to feel so limited so soon but I just can't do it. It was a great getaway and I'm glad we did it but it is probably my last road trip of the pregnancy, I can say w about 90% certainty.
I have a lot of questions for the dr on Tuesday and a lot of concerns and stuff I hope she Answers. I hope so much that I will still be cleared for air travel on thanksgiving. Our trip isn't too long and will be broken up nicely. I may be the only one but planes are much more comfortable to me then cars are.

A lot will happen Tuesday. Ultrasound. Glucose test and dr visit. I will be having a post just on that appointment because of its importance.

24 Weeks

What a fun week!! We MOVED!! Our next move(hopefully) will be to Seattle in a home we own!!! But until then this is a perfect transition from an apartment. More useful space and more area for Ava to play.
Overall I feel great, but let me tell you. Feeling great is amazing, but it makes it so hard to be on all these restrictions and feeling great but useless. Luckily Justin had some friends move the huge stuff and we had two wonderful helpers to help finish boxing and unbox the everyday stuff.
The house is officially ours and we working on getting it put together to make it more homey

Next week should be a BIG week and we go in for our ultrasound and glucose test.

So at EXACTLY 23 weeks I experienced what I didn't WANT TO EVER happen. I went to the bathroom and noticed blood :( It was something I had been afraid of since I was told that I have Previa, and honestly something I never thought would happen. On a GOOD NOTE- it wasn't bad but enough to were the doctor and I agreed I better go into the ER, and fun fact; Justin was out of town.
Of course I called him first, balling. Then calmed down because the bleeding wasn't persistent. I then called on call doctor, and then scrambled to find someone to watch Ava/ride with me.
Once I got to the hospital(that I will deliver at, and GORGEOUS) I was admitted and put in a large private room. I was asked a MILLION questions, and put on a monitor. While they monitored baby they decided to order an ultrasound and check out my naughty placenta. The tech showed me that my placenta was still VERY CLOSE to my cervix still and most likely hasn't moved any...BOO. She then asked me to use the restroom and see if that we could get a better picture because my bladder was SUPER FULL (after being at the hospital for 2 hours).
She was hesitant but said maybe my placenta had moved, causing the small bleed. So who knows, I could have been thinking this was a bad trip to the ER but maybe the bleed was a good thing. The doctor came in, did an exam, looked at pictures and couldn't say why the bleed happened and said sometimes bleeds happened and not always are things shown on ultrasound. She ALMOST kept me for overnight observation, thankfully she felt ok with sending me home..but added MORE restriction. No CARRYING Ava and NO lifting over 10 pounds. Do you know how hard it is not to carry your own child?
Overall I feel great, my tummy cramps every now and then but thats normal. I need more water!

At 1115pm I officially got kicked out of my bed by Ava and she took over. She did amazing in the hospital room. IPAD, FRUIT, and MandMs.

I would like to add that I am still feeling confident that my placenta may move, and I can resume NORMAL physical activity, start being more active, TRAVEL, ect. So please keep positive thoughts. For now though, I will take it easy because I AM going to SEATTLE and I AM going to have a baby shower surrounded by the ones I love!

Being on restriction has been hard but I can tell its for the better! My body just can't handle what it could with Avas pregnancy. I don't think its related to the placenta previa really, but maybe just because I am a lot more pregnant sooner this time around. Maybe its my bodies way of FORCING me to chill out.

Fall Family Fun: Daddy's 29th Birthday

First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Justin! We had a great mini date night, went to Asian food, Frozen yogurt, and Target ( <--- may as well shop when we have a babysitter). Justin started his Bday with doughnuts, followed by pizza day at work, homemade peanut butter cupcakes from his favorite wife, and then our date night. It was perfect.

Ava, Mommy, Nana, and Grandpa got him a new Golf bag. Ava made a handmade card, and he also got a Seahawks lawn flag!

Fall is officially here. I cannot wait to decorate our new house :) We move in 12 days!!!!!

We spent a family fun day at the pumpkin patch!
We found this pumpkin patch (1hr and 1/2 Away) by chance last year on a quest to find a decent pumpkin patch.

We enjoyed a tractor ride, train ride, playground, the petting zoo, the big pumpkin patch, and the yummy kettle corn. It was a beyond perfect fall day, we even needed coats! It was fantastic
