28 Weeks~

This week was a HARD week! I got that awful cough Ava had over Haloween. I toughed it out for the first 4 days without medicine but finally had to cave and call Dr. and see what was safe for me to take. I have been taking Robitussum but still no real relief. I cough hard, all day, so much that I have pulled a muscle in my neck and my stomach. Hopefully It is gone by the end of this week before my Dr. appointment and before our trip to Seattle.

I didn't want Justin or Ava to get sick, so I shipped them off to Byrdstown to see Justins family for his moms birthday. I am so glad I have a husband and a father of my children that will willingly take our children on a 6 hour car ride for a whole weekend, I have NEVER been completely alone, without Ava or Justin. Not going to lie, it was Awesome. It was what I needed, granted I was sick I was able to come home from work Friday, crawl into bed, have medicine and be asleep by 7! Yes I said 7. Saturday I went out with some friends and did some light shopping( Got maternity bras, woo hoo) But man oh man was my body SORE! I had to park near the store and didn't even make it into 2 stores before I had to call "uncle" and give up.  I enjoyed some much needed quiet time and uninterrupted sleep...but I CANNOT WAIT to see my babies! I have missed them. I do wish I could have been there to celebrate Grandmas birthday but I knew that car ride, my sickness, and my overall soreness wouldn't get along!

Justin picked up all our Christmas stuff and we can start to decorate! Im so EXCITED!!!!!!!

The doctor got me on a Z-pack and hopefully that'll do the trick so I can avoid harsher medication. I just can't wait to get rid of this!!!

We are also in the midst of getting ready for our Trip out to Seattle!!! I am MORE than excited!

27 Weeks

This was a great week, staring to slowly ease into becoming a bit more active while being reasonable and listening to my aches and pains. Ava is doing wonderful at being a "big girl" and walking rather than being held by mommy 24/7, though I still love carrying my little baby! She says " I want to touch you" when she wants to be held, and it absolutely melts my heart.
I got the call this week that I am officially Diabetes free! WOO HOO!!
We can now see Babys kicks and jabs through my tummy! He is two pounds and he is SO STRONG!
Look at him! He is already a mommas boy! I cannot wait to kiss that face!

Happy Halloween 2014

Happy Halloween!
This year Halloween fell on a Friday, BEST DAY FOR HALLOWEEN! It started off with Trick-or-Treating at school. Then we braved the first cold of the year and went out for about an hour. This year was even more fun! Ava would run up to the house(with holding mommy or daddies hand, still a little shy, she would attempt to say trick or treat, loved to pick out her candy (she would make sure to just grab one, say thank you , and run to show mommy or daddy who was waiting what she got "Look, look". It was adorable! She picked out Sofia the First dress ( SO MUCH GLITTER EVERYWHERE, I will be cleaning up glitter until we move out)
She said " Im pretty" and would twirl! She loves to dress up now, and she would wear that dress everyday if she could!

We also had our new house and were able to pass out candy, SO MUCH FUN! We ended up running out of candy, even though we bought 2 HUGE bags, and had to give away a majority of Avas (sorry Ava). Though don't worry she had PLENTY and was up until about 1 am with excitement!
Halloween 2014 was a huge SUCESS! I cant wait for next year with Ava and Baby, maybe even mommy and daddy will dress up too!

Ava spent the week leading up to Halloween with an awful cough and loosing her voice, so she missed the week of school, but thankfully made it for Halloween day!

26 Weeks- BIG PLACENTA NEWS- Happy Halloween

Total weight gain/loss: Since my last Dr. Appt I was told I had a spike in weight gain, I chalk it up to be putting on strict DO NOTHING restrictions. So I need to watch what I put in my body. Total pregnancy this far according to dr my weight gain is about +10 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yup!
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Sleeping great pretty uninterrupted
Best moment this week: enjoying being pregnant
Miss Anything?  Activity
Movement: All the time!
Food cravings: Nothing really
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: Nope
Symptoms: Nothing too crazy
Belly Button in or out? I am going to guess it'll be flat by week 30
Wedding rings on or off? On

This was the big WEEK!
I had my glucose test and my follow up Ultrasound
I can not even describe how AMAZING the appointment went.
They got us RIGHT in to our ultrasound. The only thing the tech said at first was "PERFECT", its completely moved! When I say completely moved, it moved a TON!!!!
I was measuring at a 2.1 ( Anything under a 2 is at risk for C-section) Previously earlier on it was about a 1.5. This appointment it was a 3.2 WOW! So no scheduled C section for this momma and NO Placenta Previa, and NO more RESTRICTION!!!!!!!!
With that being said I can slowly become more active, though this pregnancy is completely different, with Ava I was an energizer bunny, very active, this little guy is really causing a lot of discomfort in my stomach and my hips, its so painful. So I am trying to listen to my body and limit myself but along with that trying to push myself to be a little active

I also had my glucose test, which I totally don't mind, I had 5 minutes to chug my Fruit Punch Sugary Delight. SUGAR OVERLOAD

Then it was off to meet with Dr. Taylor, she was so happy with my Placenta :)
She did want to me be cautious of weight gain, but I think I am just fine, I haven't been eating SUPER bad or a lot, So I'm not worried!
We brought up travel, since the trip to NC really hurt me. We were making sure it is safe for us to travel to Seattle in a few weeks and we had to ask about Christmas(even though I ALREADY knew what I was going to be doing, NOTHING)
She says I am fine for Thanksgiving, I need to be VERY HYDRATED, Get up every hour, Get compression socks, and listen to my body. She also wants us to make sure we know of hospitals in the area(in case of an emergency)
Christmas- This year is suppose to be spent in Ohio, since last year we were in Seattle. We are trying hard to do rotating holidays, but this year I will be 36+ weeks pregnant and NO way am I getting in a car, a train, a bus, a plane, anything!!!! So this year we are hosting Christmas at our house and I am pretty excited about it actually. For the last 6 christmases we have been spending the holidays traveling, this year we can relax and enjoy the holiday. Though, I will admit it is going to BE VERY HARD, and VERY emotional, but Nolan will be coming a few short weeks after and this will be our last chance to focus on JUST AVA and spending time with Family!

Let Holiday Decorating Begin!!!
