10 Months

I feel like I should start to plan Nolans 1st bday!!! How can that be?!?

43 Weeks

What an amazing week!!! This was Nolans second time to the farm in Byrdstown and he LOVED IT!! He enjoyed crawling and cruising around. He got lots of snuggles by many family members. 

He is officially throwing mini temper tantrums... The kind where it's cute.

He rode the gator and enjoyed feeling the wind on his face. Made him smile from ear to ear. 

He saw Santa And did way better the. Ava ever did. He just sat there and took in all the surroundings. 

42 weeks

He is a little mover! He is now cruising, transferring, and using the walker! His little legs are so cute trying to keep up with the speed of the walker.
He is officially starting to throw "fits". When he wants something, doesn't want something, or has to get in his car seat...watch out.
Has really enjoyed being on Vacation and getting lots of snuggles and love from all his family members.

41 Weeks

40 weeks

He is officially cruising around, loves the walker!!! His little legs have to move fast but he does great!

No sleeping!!!!! I can't complain though , he eats up 4-8 times to nurse but he isn't fussy:) He just wants his mommy.

 No bottles still:/ but absolutely devoures baby food. At school they mix formula and baby food together to make Nolan soup :) I primarily breastfeed him still at work but sometimes it can't happen. 

I'm in owe that I've lasted almost 10 months and I'm get happy about that. 

Missing my bAby !!! Being away as a mom is both stressful, stress relieving, sad and excited All in one!!! I love love love my children but sometimes a step away alone is nice too, though my trip is for work I plan to get SLEEP!!! All night sleep!!!

9 months Old

Teeth: 6 teeth. 

Overall teething hasn't been awful, painful for him but haven't hindered him much 

Sleep: what is sleep? He loves a good car nap. Goes to sleep at 8pm like clock work but.... Once that sun goes down he is ready to snuggle and party. Since this month he has decided to Vito bottles. He is now nursing about 3-6 times at night. He isn't fussy or needy in the middle of the night just wants to nurse and it's not even to eat it's more for comfort. 

Thrush: It got us again. Ava had it and now Nolan is fighting it too. We can't really figure out why or how since Nolan isn't using a bottle or a paci. But he got it so bad that bc he is nursing he gave it to me and unfortunately we pass it back a forth.

My love bug is 8 months old. Wow!! He is  super active. Starting to attempt to pull up and loves doing "push ups". He's such a little man, flirty,curious, lovable, independent, and stubborn.

sleep deprived !!!!!   I have been tracking my sleep and on a good night I'm getting 2 hours of sleep and that's total...broken up...yikes. 

Poor guy got 4 teeth in a matter of 6 days!!!!! 

He is refusing REFUSING bottles. 

Eating food like a champion. He hates plain rice cereal but loves it mixed in with food. 

Crawling and sitting up like a big boy:)

This is just CRAZY! How is my little guy 7 MONTHS OLD, seriously...He still seems like such a little guy to me.


This month....wow...what a developmental milestone month

*Started FINALLY enjoying tummy time
*Actively engages with toys
*Went from scooting in circles and kinda rolling to get around..to FULL on CRAWLING!!!!!
*One day had one tooth kinda popping out....to 4!!!!!!!! 4 Teeth!!!!!!!
* Still not sleeping through the night :(
* Started formula! Mommy still breastfeeds when they are together as much as possible (All weekends, and through the night) Picky on his formula. Has to be PERFECT consistency and temperature..and he has to really be hungry.
*Started to attend Mommies school :)
*Has the cutest giggle!!
* Favorite toy: Giraffe
*Favorite Game: "Which hand is it"
* Still sleeps swaddled at night time, all naps and at school he sleeps unsaddled.

I am starting to see glimpses of Nolan as a toddler. This makes me so sad how fast infancy comes and goes. He has grown so much everyday it amazes me 

He officially is a roller. He no longer will remain where you leave him... That I will miss but this is also one thing I'm so excited for...he is going to be a handful and such a joy. Him and his sister will be a dynamic duo for sure 

We've given up trying a binkie. He doesn't care for it and he hasn't needed it   He does love his blankie though. It's his companion and I love that. 

He is now actively engaged w toys and reaches for objects and grabs them

Favorite toy is still his feet. So much that he is clawing his leg when reaching for his toes. Lately he even rips his socks of to reach for his toes. Adorable, and disgusting

My first time away from my little guy. It was hard. 

He is drinking a ton! Growing like a weed. 

Traveling without babies

Traveling without your babies.... Some moms would break down at the simple thought of leaving their babies behind..me... NO. Don't get me wrong. It was sad 

But a part of me. A part..was so excited for mommy time (though it was a work trip) but on top of the much needed (and deserved) time, I wanted Justin to have that real bonding time w Nolan and Ava. Especially since he was living away, and now Nolan attends school. I think it is so important for fathers and their children to have time. 

Justin was a rockstar. I was gone for 3 days 2 nights. And justin owned the daddy duty role!!! 

I was able to relax and know both kiddos were in great hands with daddy( Nana and grandpa) 

I had an amazing work trip and am excited for what the future holds 

Also while away Justin was able to sneak in an interview and ACCEPTED A job offer. I couldn't be more proud. 

Now I'm ready for my snuggles!! 

18 weeks

This little guy melts my heart more and more each day. I see so much personality through his little body. He is so close to rolling over but really has no interest because he LOVES to play with his play mat. 

He is in 9 month clothes and wears them well 

He is grasping objects pretty well when I give them to him and he still loves to suck on his blanket and hands. By far his favorite toys 

He is a kicker!!! 

Loves to hear his own voice and likes to tell it loud 

4 months

One of the first appointments I've ever missed :(. Justin took both kids to the dr. Nolan was a champ of course, he had shots and did just fine. 

 Nolan has his first cold. Poor thing has a nasty cough and is all congested.

Head and length 95th percentile 

A few days after his shots his leg became a tad swollen and a red ring around site. I was a worried mommy but dr assured me that since no fever or streaks that he was fine, and he was :)

3 month clothes...goodbye!  6 month clothes ...hello:). Wowser. Clothes have been a big thing this week. All of his clothes suddenly got way too short, pants to tight, etc. I decided to bite the bullet and go buy some new outfits before our movers come... Well I was at the store and for some reason bought all 9 month clothes.... Space case... I tried them on..baggy.. But I may just keep them, before I know it he will fit into them. 

Tummy time is improving. Still not a huge fan but really starting to lift up 

Feet!! He found them. He loved to lay on the ground and grab at them 

"Kick kick kick" is his favorite thing to do in his car seat. He kicks his giraffe and will do that the whole time ( if not asleep) in his car seat. 

15 weeks

I will never stay caught up, every time I think I'm catching up I notice I'm behind. That being said Nolan is 15 weeks. WOW.  

Biggest accomplishment. Nolan survived his first full week of school :) YAY. He's now drinking from bottles at school. 

His neck strength amazes me. He finally doesn't hate tummy time. I love that they do it at school because honestly I hate doing it, I don't like how upset he gets and seeing him cry w his face on the floor. At school they keep practicing and he's doing amazing 

School is getting him on a great little routine too. He now lays downs at 8 and pretty much sleeps through the night. I feed him at 750. Rock him and put him in his crib all swaddled and he puts himself to sleep :) with no tears :)

We can't wait for daddy to get home 2 more weeks. 

14 weeks

Big milestone Nolans 1st baseball game. Go Redbirds!!!

First day of daycare. First time away from mommy( for more than 20 min). First time being bottle fed. First time being in the care of a non family member. 

Holy smokes that's a lot of firsts. 

Got to his school early for lots of snuggles and one last nursing before I dropped him off. 

He loved his new toys at school. Mommy was sad but excited for Nolans new adventure. Luckily I work only a few minutes away. 

When I got to his school he was playing and got the biggest smile on his face. It melted my heart. 

He made it through the whole day so I'll count that as a win :) He drank from the bottle, 1/2 oz, 1/2 oz, 1 oz, then 1 1/2 oz     It can only get better. 

This week he is becoming more and more interactive. Amazing head control!!! He's my big guy. 

His thrush is now completely gone :) we got another round of meds and it cleared up instantly. 

We got to celebrate Mother's Day all together and I couldn't be a happier mom then when I get to be surrounded by my babies. We had a relaxing day with Nana and Grandpa. 

13 weeks

6 month clothes are getting small? I swear he is going through the largest growth spurt 

Bottle. Ugh. One week and I start working, this kids world is going to be rocked. Poor guy. 

3 months

Again, time goes by so fast. The second one even faster. It's exciting and not fair all at the same time. I love love love the baby stage but I absolutely love the toddler stage. The whole world is new and exciting and I love seeing that through their eyes. 

Nolan is now really soaking it all in. He's alert and very observant. 

This month Nolan started to coo like crazy. He's always talking and often yelling. 

I am hesitant to say,I don't want to jinx it but.... Nolan is starting to sleep through the night 10pm-3 am. ( twice until 5). I know it'll change during developmental milestones but its exciting 

Nolan is a well traveled little guy. He's been on numerous road trips and in a week his first airplane ride to Seattle ( which included 4 different flights) 

He did amazing and slept a ton( and no he didn't lay in the seat, we were already on the ground, he got lots of snuggles)
