6 Years Old

Unicorn Party

Avas parties are always so much fun. She is lucky to have a Summer Birthday because that means pool party and outdoor fun!

This year was extra special because the Kautz grandparents were able to join this year.

Ava had a giant unicorn sprinkler, bouncy house, water balloons, and a giant pool. All of this added up to a fun filled day with friends and family.

3 Years Old

3 years old!

How can this be possible! Justin and I catch ourselves often in disbelief that we now have 2 grown kids. It is so fun watching Nolans personality develop. He is really starting to thrive.

Potty Training was a struggle for a while, he was just not interested nor were we pushing the matter.
He is now in underwear but still having issues going number 2. He seems scared and associates it with pain, with is not a recipe for success. His teachers are working really well with him and I know it'll come with time.

Nolan is a funny guy. He REPEATS EVERYTHING. He went from not speaking, to repeating everything he hears...good and bad.

Nolan is in love with Ava and looks up to her for everything.

5 1/2 Years old

We got a D-O-G

The day I never thought would happen! We are officially a family of 5. 4 humans and a dog :)

T-Ball Season

The kids both have started T-Ball! This is the start of a very fun future ahead. Justin and I are both so excited to watch our children participate in sports and for us both to support them in any sports they choose to participate in.

First Mini Family Vacation Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge- Grand Mount Washington.

This was the first time that just our family of 4 went on a getaway. It was such a blast to pack up the car and take off on an adventure. The kids were beyond excited and watching the joy in their faces was worth every penny! Justin and I had the chance to spoil them and we enjoyed every minute of it. We ate yummy food, stayed up past our normal bed times, had late night ice cream, and played so much in the water. Both kids are still not huge fans of rides and/or large water slides but the wave pool and kiddie pools were a hit.

Five Years Old

Turning 5 is such a Milestone! You are no longer a baby or a toddler, you are officially now a Kid. Avas personality is booming and she is such a fun-loving, dominate little girl. Ava has a strong personality (much like her mother). Turning 5 means she is officially starting Kindergarten, she now is much more independent, and she now carries herself like a grown child. It is crazy to see this change from 4 to 5.

Ava still is very shy around people, but once she is comfortable and in a smaller setting she lets her guard down and is very social.

Ava reminds me so much of myself, its actually alarming. Sleeping is still a struggle, she and Nolan sleep together in her room but Ava almost always ends up in our room by the middle of the night.
