See You Soon Daddy

As many of you know Justin got a new job. Ava and I are so proud of him. Justin is in route to Memphis Tennessee. Justins brother Nate flew in from Ohio, stayed overnight and they are both driving this morning ACROSS THE COUNTRY. We could not thank Nate enough for going with Justin. Their goal is 15 hours a day and to make it there by Wednesday. Those poor guys. I packed them a "Road trip Survival Kit" so hopefully when they are stuck in the middle of nowhere they can have some tasty treats, and Hey..the pringles cans can be used for portable pottys, Just saying! ;)

Saying goodbye to Justin was sad but easier because we have done this multiple times and we know that in 26  days Ava, Nana and I will be visiting. The hard part, and I mean HARD was seeing him kiss Ava goodbye, It BROKE my heart. There are no words to begin to descibe how sad that was. Luckily we will skype everyday and I will constantly be sending him pictures. I just have no words to describe how horrible that was.

Justin and I had an AMAZING weekend together though before his big journey across the country.
Its started off on Friday!
* We got off work early and went to one of our favorite places, Buffulo Wild Wings
* After that we went and shopped and ran some errands.
* Went home, pumped, and helped my parents clean up a bit and played with Ava
* Then Justin and I went for "date night". I thought we were just going to dinner. Justin suprised me with one of the BEST NIGHTS EVER! (With some help from my parents, *Thanks for babysitting)

Justin took me to the casino. We played for an hour because we were not exactly hungry yet, won 60 bucks and decided it was time for dinner. As we were leaving Justin jokingly started walking to the Resort part of the Casino. He played it off as some big joke, he ran into the elevator with a random couple so I hopped on. Then they pushed floor three, asked where we were going and Justin replied "Same, floor three". By this point I was CRACKING up, thinking this was all a big joke and he was being a Major CREEP to this poor couple, we got off the elevator and he started walking down the hall. I was still laughing and then he turned around and said JUST KIDDING. We were both hysterical at this point then all the sudden he opened his wallet, got a room key out, and went in the room! I was SHOCKED, now I was quiet and stunned. Then from behind the bed, he pulls out our suitcase and says that we are staying.
I was so shocked, excited, and overwhelmed....First thing I said, was "What about Ava?" I had a moment where I began to cry because this was our first time overnight without her, Justin calmed me down and reminded me that she is almost 6 months old and that she was in GREAT hands. I soon then realized how BADLY Justin and I needed this time for ourselfs. We relaxed, went to the pool and hot tub, went to dinner, and played for a few hours in the casino. It was more than PERFECT! I cannot thank him enough for that special night.

23 Weeks

SERIOUSLY! Our "toof Fairy" came AGAIN! I did not even see this one coming. Its is right next to the other tooth :) I seriously cannot believe it. She is seriously no longer a baby anymore, she is a little person. So full of love, life and happiness.

This was a HUGE MILESTONE week!

* Toof Fairy came AGAIN
*Mommy and Daddy stayed a WHOLE night away from Ava. (Blog soon to follow)
^-----I know there are only three "milestones" but wow! Seriously what a week!

* Moved into Nana and Grandpas. Justin moved in for a week, and Ava and I are staying for a few months.
* Ava had her FIRST FOOD.  PEAS <---- I did try them, VERY BLAN..probably why she didnt care for them.

22 Weeks! Good Bye First Home

*22 WEEKS*
We have our first tooth officially! Popped through the gums
Loves Grandpa daycare
Ava has been busy packing the house
Loves to spin on the hard wood floor in circles and loves to kick her feet
Not eating as often
Loves hearing people tell stories
Spending quality time with daddy

Sitting up UNASSISTED like a big girl
Ava helped mommy pack these boxes, all of her toys!
This was our house :) Ava's First home!

FIVE months

~Can you believe it? Little miss Ava Paige is FIVE months old~
*

21 Weeks

Toof Fairy arrived!  I heard that teething tooth fairies are NO FUN, and create one "mean, grumpy baby", Ava got LUCKY! This Tooth Fairy is unique as she creates drool puddles and one happy chomper. The tooth is barely breaking the surface of the bottom front gum but it's interesting and exciting to see Ava's mouth slowly transforming into a vicious sharp little chomper.

The wonderful milestone of our baby's first razor blade has been coupled with a fussy baby, she does not really FUSS she just gets scared I think of the sharp object hitting her tongue,  but nothing at all compared to the "norm" of most teething babies.

Ava has a few teethers, Sophie the Giraffe, frozen teethers, teething vibrator, necklaces, rattles, and Binky's. Her chew item of choice is HER WHOLE first in her mouth or other peoples hands.

Ava is seriously such an outstanding baby, I can hardly stand it. I hate to brag...but really could she get any better.

20 weeks!

As I sit here and type about my 20 week old I can't help but remember how excited Justin and I were when I was 20 weeks pregnant. Now here we are 41 weeks later and I just cannot believe it has been that long in such a "short" amount of time. So much has changed. We were taking pictures with our chalkboard in our apartment, now here we are taking pictures in Avas "first" house and soon enough we will be taking pictures at Grandma and Grandpa, followed by our new place in Memphis.
It is amazing and unpredictable how things change. No matter how hard I try to plan things, something is always different. As a mom I am learning to just ROLL WITH IT.

Ava has had one busy week. We have been cleaning our house like crazy to show it to potential renters, fighting off the cold weather, getting pictures taken, rooting on the Seahawks, playing in the snow, organizing clothes, and getting ready for a cross country move.

This week Ava has officially started sitting up on her own. Some unassisted time, but mainly with a hand on her. When she sits on her own she ALWAYS has her hand straight up in the air, funniest thing ever. Either that or she is sitting WAY forward, sometimes making her throw up.

She is a chatter! Loves to talk :) She also is starting to figure out that she can make noises when she wants to. So far she has MASTERED the cough. At first I thought it might be that she had a cold, but no, she just does it and then smiles.

SERIOUSLY...My next post this week will be about our FIVE MONTH OLD!

Here we are about to start a new year. 2013 is going to be a very NEW BEGINNING for our family. Many of you do not know, but soon will (either reading this, or the next time you see Justin and I) but Justin has gotten a job offer. Before I say where I am going to begin by saying HOW PROUD of him I am. He has worked LONG and HARD to get a career in sports. This job is going to show everyone his dedication, and determination to succeed in this career field. Justin will be Intramural Coordinator at the University of Tennessee. (<----YES, WE ARE MOVING TO TENNESSEE) Scary I know, but EXCITING. This job is going to open so many doors for our family. We still have a lot to figure our and a lot to coordinate but as of now Justin will be moving the first week of FEBRUARY and Ava and I will be staying behind while Justin settles into his new position. This is going to be a VERY HARD transition for our little family of three but we know with our extended family and friends love and support that anything is possible and no matter how far away we live the bonds with family and friends will remain strong. We will keep everyone posted :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! LOVE THE KAUTZS
