Baby Kautz: 23 Months

Next month..yes NEXT MONTH..Ava is TWO years old! How in the world is this possible?

Speaking of two...she is DEFINITELY a TWO year old. Her attitude, her spunk, her amazingly smart self is ready for begin a two year old.

Ava has had A LIFE CHANGING MONTH! Biggest news this month AVA is a BIG SISTER! We have been patiently waiting for the time to come for Ava to become a big sister, and her time is now. It couldn't be any better. She loves babies, loves dolls, she even kisses my tummy and says "baby."

Ava-little Ms. Chatterbox. She is fully communicating it is the craziest thing. How did this happen. We have to completely watch what we say around her now. She mimics everything we say and do.

She is truly a blessing in our lives...its what we live for...she brings so much joy and laughter to our daily life

Favorite new thing this month

I see her PRETEND to play with things, babies, imaginary things, stuffed animals, talk to the tv show.

The cutest thing she asks, "Are you okay?"...followed by a kiss!!! If she sees you looking sad, you say Ouch or anything of the sort, she will ask "You Okay?" and kiss you! ITs PRECIOUS

She is still obsessed with Frozen, now has the soundtrack and sings along!

This latest trip to Seattle took some adjustment,,,still working on it...as far as sleeping...2 days of sleeping with us and she is now in her crib all NIGHT! Its a struggle for her to fall asleep at times, but she cries it out and falls asleep...usually within 30 min or less.

Big step this month- WEANING of LARRY- I always said by one, but then decided by 2 and guess what,,,,she is Weaning herself, she no longer uses at nap(hasn't for a long time), Larry stays in CRIB at all times except bedtime, but for the passed few days (almost a week) she just throws him, will hold Larry, or just pretend its not even there...it kinda makes me sad. I love how cute she looks with it, and the sound she makes when sucking on it, makes me think she is still a baby...but SHES not...shes growing up!

We had a kinda-birthday party in Seattle for her, she had her close friends and family there and we celebrated by playing, and eating cake and ice-cream (and she ate it)

We have a small pool party planned for her actual birthday in Memphis. Her friends Gabriella and Noa are invited and we will have pizza and cupcakes :)

Ava is loving school more and more and starts in the Transitional A Room ( beginning steps to PRE-SCHOOL.....AHHHH) I hope her transition goes well!!! She is making some great friends and school
