Christmas 2014

Merry Christmas 2014

Merry Christmas from Memphis! This was our first ever year of "hosting" Christmas. We got all our decorations out, even bought some new decorations and started creating traditions as a FAMILY. As sad as it was to not be able to travel for Christmas it was a nice new way to celebrate the holidays. Of course it was sad to not see all our family for the holidays but with the aide of technology and an overwhelming about of understanding and support christmas went amazing. I thought I would have a few moments of crying and being sad( and of course I was sad at times), but seeing Ava take in all the holiday cheer was so wonderful to see. We spend the morning at the Peabody hotel watching the duck march, we got the house all ready for Christmas day, and spent time as a family of 3. IT WAS AMAZING. We spent the rest of the day starting new traditions.

Ava loved having her Grandpa and Grandma over for the Holidays

This year we were lucky enough to have Justins family come to our house in Memphis. Though its tiny and not all that great for company, it was a blast. We had a really good time.

Ava had a wonderful Christmas. She woke up at 730 and never looked back. She loved opening "boxes" and santa spoiled her multiple times. She is one lucky little girl.
Next year is bond to be even more joyful as we continue new traditions and make new ones as a family of four. We don't know where we will be or what our "plans" are but one thing I do know is that the holidays will always be my favorite time of the year. Cant wait to see Nolan and Avas first christmas. I also hope to host Christmas this upcoming year WITH EVERYONE. That would be a dream!!!
