29 weeks

                                                        

This week can be summed up in one word! EXHAUSTING!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot figure out why she has all the sudden quit sleeping, but this mommy is TIRED!

Justin and I have been so lucky to basically have a baby who has slept through the night since she was born, but this sudden change is hard to deal with.

 Every night she woke up at 11pm, 2pm, 4am, then up for good at 6am. She would eat almost every time she woke up. That makes me think it was a growth spurt. Lucky for me she wasn't too fussy, she would just cry until I would make her bottle then she would lay with me, hold her own bottle and we would both fall asleep.  Wednesday was a whole different ball game. Everyone who knows me knows I LOVE my sleep. Thats why Justin is so amazing because he would typically do all middle of the night feedings :), but since I am on my own I am the lucky one who gets to wake up with her. Wednesday she didn't want to eat, didn't want to cuddle, she wanted TO PLAY! Who wants to play at 4am????NOT ME!!!!! The only way she wouldn't cry was to be playing in her exercauser! Luckily she is soo cute! I thought okay, I will bring her downstairs, put her in her toy and Ill watch her from the couch, watch the news, and maybe sleep a bit....OH NO...Ava had different plans! She wanted someone to watch her, play with her, and dance with her. So there we were at 4 am dancing, singing and bouncing.

By Friday I came accustom to our morning feedings and I started getting really use to waking up and functioning. Lets hope this growth spurt doesn't last too much longer :)

 Other than that Ava is loving life. She loves to mimic things I do. We are mastering a head bobble that is quite hilarious!

 We are also eating more and more foods. I am also doing research on making my own food :)

I cannot believe it is March and within a month we will be planning our big move :( As Spring approaches it is making Seattle BEAUTIFUL! Making it harder to leave, but we CANNOT wait to be with Justin.  Hopefully as the weather improves we can bundle up and go out with the jogging stroller.

We also have been busy trying to plan girls nights with friends, spend quality time with family, and plan as many play dates as we can. We will visit Seattle as much as we can but babies grow so fast and we want to make sure we see everyone we can before we leave.

AVA is going to be a COUSIN! She is so happy for Uncle Alex and Auntie Melissa!

Ava also has a new found OBSESSION! LOVES, LOVES PAPER!!!!!!!

I was working on my blog and had a fussy baby. I changed her, rocked her, fed her, soothed her....NO...Nothing worked except paper. Well I was getting "in the zone" and getting my blog on when all the sudden I notice this **Please do not judge my parenting

Yes! That is right. SHE ATE PAPER!!!!!!!!Not only does she love to play with it, she loves to eat it!
